Gayathri Mani

Dr. Gayathri Mani serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing Technologies at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, where she has established herself as an expert in quantum computing and biometric systems. Her research spans multiple cutting-edge areas including image processing, quantum computing, machine learning, biometrics, and Internet of Things, with her work being cited over 160 times. As Co-PI for two significant MeitY Quantum Computing Applications Lab research grants worth approximately 57 lakhs, she contributes to groundbreaking projects in quantum finance and television advertisement scheduling. Her expertise in quantum computing is demonstrated through her certification in "Quantum Computing for Managers" and her active role in delivering sessions on quantum cryptography and Qiskit programming. Through her position at SRM's Centre for Quantum Information and Computing, she continues to advance quantum education while maintaining significant research output in areas like financial portfolio optimization and quantum algorithms.
