Friso Jansen

Dr. Friso Jansen is an MD and lecturer at the Department of Anatomy & Embryology at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), where he has been teaching since 2016. Prior to joining LUMC, he lectured at the Anatomy department of the University Medical Center Utrecht and completed a residency in Pediatrics at the Academic Hospital of Maastricht. Dr. Jansen teaches the course Anatomy of the Abdomen and Pelvis; a journey from basis to clinic, focusing on the anatomical structures and their clinical relevance. His expertise contributes to a comprehensive understanding of abdominal anatomy, enhancing the educational experience for medical students.
