Francesca Peiró

With a degree in Physics (1988), a PhD in Physical Sciences (1993) from the University of Barcelona, and a Master in University Academic Policy and Management (2011), this professional has been a professor in the Department of Electronics at UB since 1995 and achieved accreditation as a chair professor in 2009. She leads the e-LINDO teaching innovation group and has an extensive research portfolio, with over 200 scientific articles and more than 350 conference presentations, including 25 invited talks. Specializing in Transmission Electron Microscopy and related analytical techniques, she applies her expertise to advanced materials science, having supervised 10 doctoral theses and led numerous national and international research projects.
