Fernand Kouamé holds a State Doctorate (HDR) in Natural Sciences and is a Professor-Researcher at the Félix HOUHPOUËT-BOIGNY University in Abidjan-Cocody (Côte d'Ivoire). He coordinates teaching and research activities in Geomatics applied to natural resource management at the University Center for Research and Application in Remote Sensing (CURAT). A member of the "Remote Sensing Network" of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie, he has participated in numerous research projects on the digital processing of satellite data and their integration into Geographic Information Systems.
