Delft University of TechnologyFabio Sebastiano serves as an Associate Professor and Research Lead for the Quantum Computing division at QuTech, Delft University of Technology, where he focuses on interfacing integrated circuits with external computing devices and sensor systems. His academic journey includes B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees (both cum laude) in electrical engineering from the University of Pisa, an M.Sc. (cum laude) from Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, and a Ph.D. from TU Delft in 2011. From 2006 to 2013, he worked at NXP Semiconductors Research in Eindhoven, conducting research on CMOS frequency references, temperature sensors, and magnetic sensor interfaces before joining TU Delft in 2013. His research excellence is evidenced by 11 patents, one book, and over 70 technical publications, with particular focus on cryogenic electronic interfaces, quantum computation, and smart sensor systems. His achievements have been recognized with numerous awards, including the 2008 ISCAS Best Student Paper Award, the 2017 DATE best IP award, and the best paper award at IWASI 2017, while his expertise has earned him positions as an IEEE Senior Member, Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Solid-State Circuit Society, and Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on VLSI
