Fabio Bisogni is completing his doctoral studies in Cybersecurity Law and Economics at TU Delft, having previously earned a Master’s Degree in Economics and a professional Master’s (II level) in Governance of Information Systems from ROMA TRE University. Bisogni has gained research experience at the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, worked in consultancy at Ernst & Young, and in the industrial sector with the FIAT group (now FCA). He is currently the President of FORMIT – Fondazione per la Ricerca sulla Migrazione e Integrazione delle Tecnologie in Italy, where he has led over 20 studies and projects in areas such as critical infrastructure, cybersecurity, information security economics, and policing over the past decade. Since 2018, he has also served as Vice President and Delegate for Educational Offering and Communication at Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma (UNINT). A chartered certified accountant and financial auditor, he is an expert for the European Commission and was appointed to the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers' working group on cyberspace security. He has acted as an external expert for the EU Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA) Working Group on Economics of Security and the European Public-Private Partnership for Resilience (EP3R) Task Force on Trusted Information Sharing. Additionally, Bisogni was a guest co-editor for two special issues of IEEE Security & Privacy on the Economics of Cybersecurity. His international experience spans Italy, Germany, the UK, Russia, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, where he has contributed to European Commission and United Nations projects.
