Distinguished Knowledge Translation Expert and Research Psychologist
Esther Mc Sween-Cadieux serves as Associate Professor at the Université de Sherbrooke while maintaining connections with the University of Montreal, where she completed her PhD in Psychology in 2019. Her research focuses on knowledge translation strategies in public health, particularly in West African contexts, evaluating different knowledge transfer approaches and developing innovative communication tools. As coordinator of the RENARD Research Team and a knowledge transfer consultant, she specializes in developing and evaluating effective methods for sharing research findings through various media including infographics and video clips. She combines her academic work with practical applications as a contract psychologist at the University of Montreal's Centre de Santé et de Consultation Psychologique, while regularly conducting training workshops and supporting knowledge transfer processes. Her expertise spans the development of assessment methods, knowledge brokering strategies, and the creation of engaging tools for knowledge dissemination, contributing significantly to bridging the gap between research and practice in public health interventions.
