Esther León Castelao

With a PhDc, multiple master’s degrees in Critical Care, Research, and Hospital Management, and certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN), this professional leads R&D at the Clinical Simulation Laboratory of the University of Barcelona. A key figure in the European Society for Simulation (SESAM) and former president of the Spanish Society for Simulation and Patient Safety (SESSEP), she plays a pivotal role in advancing healthcare simulation education. She directs the Master's in Clinical Simulation and Safety at the University of Barcelona, serves on various editorial boards, and has lectured at numerous national and international conferences.
