Erin Willis

Erin Willis is an Associate Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder, where she specializes in health communication and public relations. She earned her doctorate from the University of Missouri School of Journalism, focusing her research on how health messages influence individual behaviors and decision-making processes. Dr. Willis is particularly interested in the impact of everyday information and technology on health behavior, aiming to understand how effective message design can enhance public health promotion. Her scholarly work has been published in prominent journals such as Health Communication, Health Psychology, and Health Informatics.Before joining CU Boulder, Dr. Willis served as an assistant professor at the University of Memphis and has a background in public relations, which enriches her academic perspective. She teaches a variety of courses, including "How to Implement and Evaluate Communication Campaigns," "Integrated and Strategic Communication Campaigns," and "Principles of Public Relations."
