Eric M. Genden, MD

Dr. Eric M. Genden is a distinguished medical professional holding multiple leadership positions, including the Isidore Friesner Professor and Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is also a Professor of Neurosurgery and Immunology, Chief of the Division of Head and Neck Oncology, Executive Vice President of Ambulatory Surgery, and Director of the Head and Neck Institute at Mount Sinai Health System. Dr. Genden is a renowned expert in managing oral cancer and performing microvascular reconstruction of the head and neck. Additionally, his clinical expertise includes thyroid and parathyroid surgery. His research focuses on transplantation immune biology of the trachea and larynx.
