After completing her education at TU Delft and earning a Master en Urbanisme de les Ciutats from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona (1993), she established her own urban design practice in 1996, which she ran until 2021. Her expertise spans multiple scales of urban design, from regional structures to detailed public space design, with particular emphasis on transformation processes. Her approach combines urban analysis, everyday use considerations, and network planning with detailed attention to spatial composition. She develops educational materials and coordinates courses in both the Bachelor of Architecture and the urbanism track of the MSc Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences program.
