Delft University of TechnologyEdimara Mezzomo Luciano is a Full Professor in Strategy, Organizations and Society at the Management Graduate Program at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS). After completing her PhD in Administration from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in 2004, she enhanced her expertise through a visiting research position at the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2016. She leads the Governance and Digital Society Research Group and serves as IT Governance and Architecture Minitrack Co-Chair at Americas Conference on Information Systems. Her research spans digital governance, smart cities, open government, and ICT mechanisms to reduce corruption levels. She coordinates major research initiatives including the ERASMUS+ project on Smart Sustainable Cities and the CAPES PrInt Research Project on Economic, Social, Human and Environmental Development. As a consultant for the ICT Governance Steering Committee of Rio Grande do Sul State, she bridges academic research with practical governance implementation. Her contributions include over a hundred academic publications on Management Information Systems and the use of ICT to improve private and public organizations' governance
