Dr Zack Moir

Dr. Zack Moir, formerly a Teaching Fellow at the Reid School of Music, University of Edinburgh, is now an Associate Professor of Music at Edinburgh's Napier University. His research interests include popular music in higher education, music education for social justice, and composition/improvisation pedagogies. In addition to his academic work, Zack is an active musician and composer, performing internationally as a saxophonist in ensembles and as a soloist, as well as working as a session musician.
