Dr Yuk Ming Tang

Dr. Yuk Ming Tang serves as a Senior Teaching Fellow in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. After completing his B.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D. from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and postdoctoral research at CUHK's Faculty of Medicine, he has established himself as an expert in emerging technologies. As Lab-in-charge of Integrated Product Design and deputy Lab-in-charge of the Ng Tat Lun Digital Factory, he specializes in virtual reality, mixed reality, artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, and digital twins for industrial applications. His research involves numerous Innovation and Technology Fund projects and teaching and learning initiatives. He actively collaborates with industry partners, particularly in the healthcare sector, and has been recognized for his contributions through invitations to speak at the Hong Kong Hospital Authority healthcare symposium and appearances on TVB's "Innovation GPS" program
