Dr Wai-sin TSANG

Dr Wai-sin TSANG is an Instructor at the Chinese Language Centre of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where she plays a key role in developing innovative approaches to Chinese language education. As a team member of the Flipped Classroom project for teaching Chinese as a foreign language, she contributes to creating online Cantonese learning tools specifically designed for non-Cantonese speaking students. Her expertise extends to professional communication, as demonstrated through her workshop leadership on job application letter writing and career preparation strategies. Dr Tsang is actively involved in PolyU's Chinese Language Centre's initiatives to enhance learning effectiveness through digital platforms, including the development of multi-media self-learning materials and interactive face-to-face Cantonese lessons. She also contributes to GenAI applications in learning, teaching, and assessment, sharing her experience in creating authentic assessment tasks for language education.
