Dr. Veronica Lo

Dr. Veronica Lo serves as Senior Policy Advisor in the Resilience program at the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD), where she champions nature-based climate solutions and ecosystem-based adaptation strategies. Her academic credentials include a joint Ph.D. in marine ecosystem health and conservation from the Universities of Bologna and Ghent, complemented by a Master of Science in resource management from the University of British Columbia. Her expertise spans both policy and practical applications, particularly in developing capacity-building initiatives for nature-based solutions to climate change.
