Dr Richard Worth

Richard completed a PhD in Musical Composition at The University of Edinburgh in 2012 and is currently a Lecturer in Music at the University of Liverpool. A flute player, composer, and arranger, Richard founded the jazz-latin-funk band 'Groove Collective' in New York City in 1989. With the band, he recorded six albums and toured internationally, performing at renowned venues such as The North Sea and Montreux Jazz Festivals, the Blue Note club in Tokyo, and large rock venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. The band also made appearances on American and European TV.
