Pioneering Data Scientist and Academic Leader at IE University
Dr. Rafif Srour Daher is the Vice Dean of Programs and Academics at the IE School of Science and Technology, bringing 15 years of diverse experience in teaching, research, and data analysis to her role. With a multicultural background spanning Lebanon, the USA, and Spain, she has established herself as a prominent figure in data science education and academic leadership. Srour's career at IE University has been marked by significant achievements, including multiple "Best Professor" awards and recognition as one of the top 183 Leading Data Academics by CDO Magazine in 2021. Her academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Environmental Soil Chemistry from West Virginia University, reflecting her interdisciplinary approach to science and technology. Her leadership has been instrumental in developing new programs at IE, including the Bachelor in Data and Business Analytics.
