Dr Jonathan Fairman

Dr. Jonathan Fairman is a postdoctoral research associate at the Centre for Atmospheric Science in the School of Earth, Atmospheric, and Environmental Sciences at The University of Manchester. He holds a PhD in Atmospheric Science from The University of Alabama in Huntsville and BS and MS degrees from The Ohio State University. His research focuses on climatology, using feature-based detection techniques to study rainfall patterns in the UK and US, and he specializes in atmospheric models and large dataset analysis. He also leads the development of educational tools like BuildYourOwnEarth.com and ManUniCast.com.
