Dr. John C. Burkhardt

Dr. John C. Burkhardt is a Professor of Clinical Practice and Special Assistant to the Provost for University Engagement at the University of Michigan. He is the founder of the National Forum on Higher Education for the Public Good, an initiative advancing the role of higher education in promoting civic and social responsibility. With extensive leadership experience—including serving as Director of the National Center for Institutional Diversity—Dr. Burkhardt focuses on connecting diversity, equity, and inclusion with institutional transformation.
