Drawing from her successful pharmaceutical industry career spanning R&D, Human Resources, and Global Corporate Strategy, she brings together scientists and investigators to develop novel solutions for disease and health issues. Her innovative approach to education is exemplified through her successful edX MOOC "Take Your Medicine," which has enrolled tens of thousands of students exploring drug therapy development. As a champion for women's leadership and entrepreneurship, Walkow co-founded the Leading Women Project and authored "Take the Lead," an interactive guide for developing self-leadership skills. Her impact extends through various leadership roles, including service on the Harvard Kennedy School Women's Leadership Board, the Ann Richards School Foundation Board, and involvement with Texas Global Health Security.
