IISC BangaloreDr. Hardik J. Pandya is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electronic Systems Engineering, IISc Bangalore, with additional affiliation to the Department of Design and Manufacturing. He leads three advanced labs focused on next-generation biomedical devices and technologies. Prior to IISc, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Maryland and Harvard Medical School. A Ph.D. from IIT Delhi, his research centres on minimally invasive and non-invasive technologies for cancer diagnosis, e-nose-based screening, and neuroprotective therapies. His work has earned prestigious recognitions including the SERB Early Career Research Award (2017), ISSS Young Scientist Award (2020), and the DST Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation National Fellowship (2023). His research group has produced leading talent now placed across global academia and organisations such as Intel, NVIDIA, Samsung, and IMEC.
