Dr. Fu-Shing Sun

Fu-Shing Sun is a faculty member at Ball State University, having joined in 2002. He specializes in teaching data-related courses, including data analytics, data mining, and database management. His research focuses on various aspects of data mining, particularly in data clustering, classification, and text mining. Recently, he has concentrated on analyzing social network news to explore how different types of news are disseminated and consumed across various channels. Dr. Sun has contributed to several conference proceedings, showcasing his work on topics such as online customer ratings and traffic anomaly detection in large-scale networks.
