Dr. Deborah Lee is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Co-Director of the Clinical Learning Center at the University of Michigan School of Nursing. With a robust background in simulation-based learning, she is a certified healthcare simulation educator dedicated to enhancing nursing education through innovative teaching methods. Dr. Lee's research focuses on the efficacy, retention, and transferability of procedural skills using augmented reality devices, reflecting her commitment to integrating technology into healthcare training. She has established collaborative agreements with industry partners to train medical and nursing students globally in essential bedside skills and procedures.In addition to her academic roles, Dr. Lee has maintained a clinical practice as a nurse practitioner in Critical Care for over 12 years, mentoring residents and nurse practitioner students.
