Dr. Chrysoula Papacharalampou is the Executive Director of the Erasmus Research Institute of Management (ERIM) at Erasmus University Rotterdam. With a strong background in integrated water resources management, she has engaged in numerous action research projects, effectively embedding her findings within the water industry across various contexts. In her role at ERIM, Dr. Papacharalampou leads a team of research support professionals, develops and implements research policies that align with international standards, and drives organizational change to foster innovation in research support services. She joined ERIM in 2018 as a Policy Officer for Doctoral Education, where she modernized the ERIM Doctoral Programme and coordinated recruitment for PhD candidates. Dr. Papacharalampou holds a PhD in Integrated Water Resources Engineering and Asset Management from the University of Bath and has extensive experience collaborating with the water sector in both the UK and the Netherlands. Her commitment to impactful research and effective management positions her as a key leader in advancing ERIM's mission to achieve high-quality, societally engaged research.
