Dr. Carolina Soekmadji is dedicated to advancing medicine through her research on the biology of prostate cancer, aiming to develop personalized targeted therapies. She began her research training in Japan through the Panasonic Scholarship Program, earning her Master's degree at Kyoto University, where she focused on protein structure. Following this, she completed her PhD at the University of Melbourne, investigating the mechanisms of exocytosis and endocytosis of synaptic vesicles, supported by prestigious Australian scholarships.
