Dr Anne Forbes

Anne Forbes is a Senior Lecturer in STEM Education at Macquarie University, where she teaches pre-service teacher education and conducts accredited in-service teacher professional learning to inspire science education. She focuses on advancing science teaching through communities of practice, exemplified by the MyScience program. Currently, she collaborates with IBM to implement a Global Artificial Intelligence Curriculum Framework and is the lead author of a 2021 STEM Education textbook for Australian pre-service primary teachers. Anne has also been invited to present her research internationally and share insights on STEM education with various stakeholders.
