Dr. Angela Renata Cordeiro Ortigara

Angela Renata Cordeiro Ortigara serves as a Programme Officer at UNESCO's World Water Assessment Programme (WWAP) in Perugia, Italy, where she has made significant contributions to global water policy and sustainable development initiatives. With dual Brazilian and Italian nationality, she built her expertise through an M.Sc. from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Trento. At WWAP, she played a crucial role in developing the UN-Water SDG 6 Synthesis Report 2018 on Water and Sanitation, while regularly contributing to the annual World Water Development Report.
