Douglas B. Laney

Douglas B. Laney is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Accountancy at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he has been teaching since 2018. He specializes in infonomics, a field he originated that focuses on the economic value of information and how organizations can manage and monetize their data assets. Laney's courses include "Business Analytics Executive Overview" and the "Infonomics" series, which are also available online through Coursera.
