Don Grant

Don Grant is a Professor of Sociology at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he also serves as the Director of the Care, Health, and Resilience Program. Additionally, he is a Fellow at the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Institute and the Director of the university's Program in Social Innovation. Grant's research and teaching focus on the moral and ethical challenges faced by helping professionals. His latest book, Nursing the Spirit: Care, Public Life, and the Dignity of Vulnerable Strangers, explores these issues and is under contract with Columbia University Press. His academic work examines the intersection of care, health, and resilience, aiming to improve public life through social innovation and the dignity of vulnerable populations.
