Dr. Domenico Accardo serves as Professor of Avionics and Air Traffic Management at the University of Naples Federico II and the Italian Air Force Academy. His academic credentials include an MSc in Aerospace Engineering (1997) and a Ph.D. in Aerospace Science and Technology (2000). Through his Coursera course "Autonomous Aerospace Systems," he helps students understand advanced avionics and air traffic management systems. As Chair of the Degree Course in Management of Aerospace Systems for Defense and director of the Laboratory of Innovative Flight Technologies (LIFT), he leads research in sensors, guidance systems, and unmanned aircraft systems.
