Divakaran D

Divakaran D is currently an Associate Professor at Azim Premji University, where he has been teaching since October 2019. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and has a rich academic background that includes postdoctoral fellowships at prestigious institutions such as the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal, and The Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai. His research focuses on metric geometry, its applications to geometric topology, the structure of function spaces between Riemann surfaces, and Monte Carlo integration techniques.With over six years of experience in teaching both pure and applied geometry and topology, Divakaran has effectively engaged students through offline and online modes. His contributions to the field are complemented by his previous role as a Research Associate at the University of Edinburgh. Divakaran's work not only enhances the understanding of complex mathematical concepts but also fosters a deeper appreciation for the applications of mathematics in various domains.
