Diana Ubico Durán combines expertise in engineering, business, and environmental policy to address climate change challenges across Latin America. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and MBA from the University of Costa Rica, complemented by an MA in Environment, Development and Peace with climate change policy specialization from the UN University for Peace. Since 2015, she has worked as a climate change consultant, developing projects for INCAE Business School and the LEDS LAC Platform under World Bank and GIZ sponsorship. As Costa Rica Manager for the USAID/OFDA PREPARE Program, she leads earthquake disaster preparedness initiatives.
