David S. Lee

David S. Lee is a Principal Lecturer at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) Business School, where he has established himself as a pioneering voice in business ethics, fintech, and corporate governance. His diverse academic background includes a JD from UCLA School of Law, an MA from Harvard University, an MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and postgraduate training at Cambridge University. Before joining academia, he built a successful career in finance, starting at Goldman Sachs and gaining experience in investment management in both Hong Kong and London. As the first business school academic to receive the prestigious UGC Teaching Award in Hong Kong, Lee has demonstrated exceptional teaching excellence across undergraduate, MBA, and executive education programs. He co-authored Asia's first business ethics textbook and developed an innovative MOOC on Fintech Ethics and Risks that has reached over 14,000 students from 160 countries.
