David Murillo

David Murillo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Society, Politics and Sustainability at ESADE Business School, part of Ramon Llull University in Barcelona. He holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Barcelona and has a diverse academic background, including degrees in Humanities and Business Administration. His research primarily focuses on globalization, social innovation, business ethics, and critical management studies. Murillo has authored the book From Walmart to Al Qaeda: An Interdisciplinary Approach to Globalization and has published numerous articles in leading academic journals such as Journal of Business Ethics and Technological Forecasting and Social Change. He has also served as a visiting scholar at various prestigious institutions worldwide. In addition to his research, he is actively involved in teaching courses related to sustainability and social responsibility, contributing to the development of future leaders in these critical areas.
