Dr. David Mendez is a Professor in the Department of Health Management and Policy at the University of Michigan School of Public Health and serves as a Principal Investigator for the Center for the Assessment of Tobacco Regulations (CAsToR). His research primarily focuses on modeling the public health impact of potential tobacco and nicotine product regulations, such as nicotine reduction in cigarettes and bans on menthol cigarettes.
