Environmental Engineering and Aerosol Science Expert
Dr. David Katoshevski is a Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and a member of the School of Sustainability and Climate Change. His academic foundation was built at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, where he earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering and Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics. His expertise was further enhanced through postdoctoral work at RWTH-Aachen in Germany, studying Diesel spray combustion, and at CALTECH, focusing on Atmospheric Aerosols. Since joining Ben-Gurion University in 1998, he has conducted extensive research in particle and droplet dynamics, atmospheric modeling, combustion and bio-fuels, air pollution control, aerosol inhalation/exhalation, and water treatment. His leadership roles include serving as Chairman of the Israeli Association for Combustion Research and heading the Safety Engineering program, while his research continues to contribute significantly to environmental protection and sustainability initiatives.
