Urban Design Researcher Advancing Equitable Resilience

Massachusetts Institute of TechnologyDaniela Coray serves as a Research Associate at MIT's Norman B. Leventhal Center for Advanced Urbanism, where she focuses on equity and justice in the built environment through collaborative research projects. Her background includes a Master's in Landscape Architecture from the Boston Architectural College, where she later served as Course Manager and Faculty in Landscape Architecture. With over a decade of experience in landscape design, research, and education, she has made significant contributions to community engagement, including serving as Co-Chair for K-12 Outreach for the Boston Society of Landscape Architects and as the Ada Louise Huxtable Fellow in Civic Engagement with MASS Design Group in 2017. Her work combines expertise in landscape architecture with a commitment to youth education and community development, leading design studio programs for Boston-area high school students both online and in person.
