Dr. Webster is a Professor of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. His research focuses on the prevention of gun violence, gun policy, underage gun acquisition and carrying by prohibited individuals, intimate partner violence, and youth violence prevention. Dr. Webster teaches courses related to violence prevention and serves as the Director of the Johns Hopkins-Baltimore Collaborative for Violence Reduction. Additionally, he is the co-lead of the Violence Prevention Workgroup within the Bloomberg American Health Initiative and has recently been named the first Bloomberg Professor of American Health, an endowed position funded by the initiative.
