David (Dadi) Perlmutter served as the Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Intel Architecture Group until early 2014, where he was instrumental in overseeing the development of Intel’s platform solutions across various computing and communication segments. Under his leadership, Intel's revenue grew significantly from $35 billion in 2008 to over $50 billion in 2013. Throughout his 34-year career at Intel, Perlmutter played a crucial role in developing several key products, including the i387 math co-processor and the Pentium processor architecture. He also led initiatives that transformed mobile computing with the Centrino Mobile Processor and advanced Intel's presence in wireless communications.Dr. Perlmutter holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and has been recognized with numerous awards for his contributions to technology, including an innovation award from the President of Israel. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers and has several patents related to computer architecture. On Coursera, he teaches the course Innovation Career Lessons from a Master, where he shares insights from his extensive experience in the tech industry.
