Cristian Ruz

Dr. Cristian Ruz serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile's School of Engineering. His academic credentials include a PhD in Computer Science from the Université de Nice-Sophia Antipolis, where he conducted research at France's prestigious INRIA center, complemented by a Civil Engineering degree in Computing and a Master's in Engineering Sciences from UC Chile. His research focuses on distributed systems and parallel computing in high-performance computing (HPC) platforms, contributing to the advancement of complex computational solutions. At UC Chile, he teaches a comprehensive range of courses including introductory programming, advanced programming techniques, operating systems, compilers, and computer networks.
