EdxCornelio Contreras Hinojosa brings extensive academic experience to his role at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where he has served since 1978. He holds two master's degrees from ITESM: one in Information Systems (1982) and another in Energy Engineering (2012), along with a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering. His teaching career began in the Computer Science Department, where he has taught undergraduate courses in Digital Circuits, Electronics, Computer Simulation, Programming, Numerical Methods, and Computer Networks. Since 2009, he has also served as a full-time professor in the Electrical Engineering Department, teaching Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Numerical Methods, and Programming Languages. His commitment to practical education is demonstrated through his coordination of student internships with companies in Monterrey, bridging theoretical knowledge with industry applications.
