Corey D'Augustine is a multifaceted professional who combines expertise as an art conservator, technical art historian, and practicing artist. With degrees in Biochemistry and Visual Arts from Oberlin College and a Master's in Art History and Art Conservation from NYU Institute of Fine Arts, he brings a unique scientific and artistic perspective to his work. Currently serving as the principal conservator at Corey D'Augustine Conservation since 2010, he has maintained a long association with The Museum of Modern Art, where he worked as a Lecturer from 2008 to 2019. His academic contributions extend to several prestigious institutions, including ongoing roles as an Adjunct Professor at New York University, Sotheby's Institute of Art, and previous teaching positions at Pratt Institute.
