Cody Baldwin

Cody Baldwin serves as Director of the Master's in Business Analytics program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's School of Business, where he combines extensive industry experience with innovative teaching methodologies. After building a career spanning over 15 years in big data and project management, he has established himself as a key innovator in analytics education. His work focuses on preparing students for in-demand roles in business analytics, particularly emphasizing cloud computing skills that employers specifically requested. Through his leadership, the program has achieved remarkable success with 100% job placement within six months of graduation for recent graduating classes. His expertise spans multiple areas including Python, R, SQL, and various project management tools, demonstrated through his certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Currently directing both the full-time MS in Business Analytics and the new online MS in Data, Insights, and Analytics programs, he continues to advance analytics education while maintaining active involvement in industry trends.
