Claudia Sonder, DVM

Claudia Sonder, DVM, is a graduate of the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and has extensive experience as an equine practitioner in Napa, CA. In her current role, she serves as a liaison between the School and the equine industry, collaborating with various organizations to provide scientific and educational resources aimed at addressing industry challenges. Dr. Sonder previously held the position of Director of the Center for Equine Health at UC Davis, where she focused on improving disaster preparedness for horse owners and veterinarians. She actively participates in equine welfare initiatives and has responded to multiple large-scale disasters throughout her career.
