Dr. Agbessi Amouzou is an Associate Professor in the Department of International Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a senior faculty member at the Institute for International Programs. He specializes in measuring and monitoring reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health (RMNCH) coverage and mortality. Dr. Amouzou has led major evaluations of large-scale health programs across low-income countries and currently oversees projects like RADAR, COMSA, and Countdown to 2030. Formerly with UNICEF's Data and Analytics Section, he contributed to global and country-level MNCH data analysis. He holds a PhD in Population Studies and Health, along with advanced degrees in biostatistics, demography, and mathematics. Originally from Togo, he brings deep expertise to the field of global public health.
