Christoforos Anagnostopoulos

Dr. Christoforos Anagnostopoulos is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at Imperial College London. He specializes in computational statistics, particularly focusing on streaming data analysis. His research encompasses various theoretical interests, including streaming classification, adaptive filtering, and graphical modeling. Dr. Anagnostopoulos holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Pembroke College, Cambridge, and multiple MSc degrees from the University of Edinburgh and the University of Athens. He completed his Ph.D. at Imperial College with a thesis on a statistical framework for streaming data analysis. In addition to his academic role, he serves as the Chief Data Scientist for a start-up focused on streaming data analytics and has experience consulting in the security industry and e-commerce.
