Christelle Borel

Dr. Christelle Borel is a Privat-Docent and Senior Research Associate at the University of Geneva, specializing in Human Genomics and Genetics. She earned her Ph.D. in Life Sciences from Lyon University in France in 1998. Her research focuses on exploring the relationship between inter-individual genomic variation and phenotypic variability, aiming to identify genetic variants associated with diseases. In addition to her research, Dr. Borel leads the Human Genetics and Genomics graduate training programs at the Faculty of Medicine, where she is committed to educating the next generation of scientists in this vital field.
