Chrissy Tignor

Chrissy Tignor is an accomplished audio engineer, producer, educator, and musician, currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Contemporary Writing and Production Department at Berklee College of Music. With a strong commitment to music education, she has created impactful online courses, including the widely popular ProTools Basics, which has reached over 30,000 students globally. Chrissy is also the founder of Audio Upcycle, a project that established a recording facility at El Conservatorio Nacional de Música in the Dominican Republic, empowering students with hands-on experience in music production. Under the pseudonym Data Child, she produces music and offers mentorship through her production company. Her impressive portfolio includes collaborations with renowned artists and clients such as Spotify, Bastille, and TLC. Chrissy's extensive teaching experience spans various international institutions, where she shares her expertise in audio production and fosters creativity among aspiring musicians.
