IIM BangaloreChirantan Chatterjee formerly served as Assistant Professor of Strategy at IIM Bangalore and is currently faculty member in economics and public policy at the Indian School of Business, where he holds the Bharti and Max Research Fellowship in Public Policy and Healthcare. After earning his PhD and MPhil in public policy from Carnegie Mellon University, MBA from IIM Calcutta, and BTech from IIT Roorkee, he has established himself as a leading voice in applied microeconomics and pharmaceutical economics. His research, supported by organizations including the National Science Foundation, Pfizer, and Qualcomm, has appeared in prestigious journals like RAND Journal of Economics and Journal of Health Economics. Through his consulting work with the World Bank and Competition Commission of India, and contributions to NITI Aayog's innovation policy, he continues to influence economic policy. At IIM Bangalore, he pioneered India's first MOOC on healthcare markets while regularly contributing policy insights through national media outlets.
